Jcvignes+Luxembourg met in 1924 when she was working as a governess for the children of a wealthy Belgian family living in Luxembourg. Jeanne was from France, and Pierre was from Belgium. They fell madly in love with each other. Jeanne and Pierre Vignes got married in Luxembourg during World War II. They were forced to flee to America when the Nazis occupied their country, and they started a new life there. Despite all the challenges they faced – including being separated from their families during the war – Jeanne and Pierre managed to keep their love alive until death do them part.

How did Jcvignes+Luxembourg Happen?
Jeanne and Pierre met while attending college in Luxembourg. They fell in love instantly, and soon got married. For the first few years of their marriage, they lived happily in Luxembourg with their two young daughters. But then World War II broke out, and things changed dramatically for Jews living under Nazi occupation. The restrictions on Jews became increasingly harsh, and Jeanne and Pierre knew that they had to find a way to escape before it was too late.
